PROJECT OVERVIEW: The landscape design for this newly constructed home creates a fluid indoor/outdoor living experience complete with an outdoor fireplace, shower and plunge pool. Locally quarried and cut granite pavers extend the geometric lines of the house, creating an elegant circulation system on the exterior of the house between different outdoor rooms. Naturalized plantings immediately around the house invite intimate experiences of plant architecture, scent and garden succession. As you move away from the house, pavers dissolve into the garden, and gardens dissolve into meadow and shrubland, with mowed paths connecting to existing trails in the woods. The woodland edge is treated with careful consideration to enhance privacy and wildlife habitat.
